Promoting complementary services and creating joint, sustainable solutions. Coordinating forum members, pooling resources for synergies, and developing annual plans, effective procedures, and training programs for member organisations.

Taking a representational role in local policy decision-making and health advisory forums, advocating for African, Black Caribbean, and other Black communities. Serving as a contact point for Black organisations offering health services to hard-to-reach populations, and influencing local policies to improve conditions for these communities.

Providing a strong, unified voice for Black community-based organisations. Serving as a liaison between African, Black Caribbean, and other Black communities and local health consultative processes. Collecting relevant health research, monitoring and evaluating member activities, and championing the needs and perspectives of Black community organisations.

Partnership Building and Technical support

Supporting collaboration among Black community organizations in London by providing a platform for learning and experience sharing. Facilitating relationships with other voluntary organizations, developing consortia or partnership bids to boost success and reduce duplication. Offering organizational capacity building and technical support, identifying members' needs, and referring them to appropriate service providers. Sourcing resources or specialists to enhance service delivery in areas like financial sustainability, premises, technical support, and specialist advice.
